The Monthly Meeting of Friends of Philadelphia (MMFP) and Arch Street Meeting House Preservation Trust (ASMHPT) are collaborating to serve our community by assisting those in need. Together, ASMHPT and MMFP have created a pantry to assist those struggling with food insecurity and other household needs.

“In 2010, Hazele Goodridge, member of Monthly Meeting of Friends of Philadelphia (MMFP) at Arch Street Meeting House and longtime Philadelphia resident, felt the call to serve her community and joined Philabundance’s Community Food Center Choice Food Pantry as a volunteer…”

Friends Pantry & Community Fridge at ASMH works to:

  • Distribute non-perishable food, toiletries, and household items, while also providing packages of groceries and personal care items;

  • Personalize packages to those in need based on individual situations;

  • Provide support and/or resources to those in emergency situations to individuals and families within reason.

This project is funded by Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful's Healing the Planet Grant Program with support from The GIANT Company.
