Stay tuned for more information.The Free Produce Movement began among Quakers in the 18th and 19th centuries as a way to avoid goods made by enslaved people - similar to cruelty-free products today! The movement was very popular among Philadelphia Quakers like Lucretia Mott, but it was difficult to balance income and expense within the movement.
