Join us at Arch Street Meeting House for a special sneak preview of the new temporary exhibits in the East Room about Quaker activism and learn about icons of the Women’s rights moment. Also take a walk around the site with Executive Director Sean Connolly to see a special sneak preview of the recently completed Exhibit Area Design Plan. Learn about what stories we are going to be telling with our updated exhibits, where new outside exhibits will go and how you can help. This will give visitors and friends a unique opportunity to learn how exhibits are designed and why they are so important to the public history of Quakerism.
Picnicking welcome before and after your tour. Sean will lead tours and discussions every half an hour from 12-3pm (last tour at 3:00pm). Please register HERE (link to picnic Eventbrite) to book your tour. If you can’t make it to this event but would still like to learn more about our Exhibit Area Design Plan, please sign up for the Zoom presentation of these plans on November 12th at 7pm.
Social distancing and masks required.
